Connectivity
Integration with users and services

In a world where the Internet of Things (IoT) paradigm is imposed, it is unthinkable that an electronic device is not interconnected with other systems. To this end, we have experience in the development of:

  • Internet/Intranet connectivity: Whether through the native Linux stack or thanks to SSL/TLS encryption suites and IPv4 and IPv6 stacks embedded in low-cost microcontrollers: there are WI-FI and Ethernet connection solutions even for the lowest-cost and most energy-efficient devices. All this without sacrificing security, since communications will always be protected by SSL/TLS encryption.
  • Remote interfaces: Even the simplest devices can be equipped with modern web access or a mobile application for control.
  • Cloud connection: Since we are experts in this type of development, we can also create environments that manage devices centrally in the cloud.
  • ISM radio: We have developed very long-range networks in free bands (which do not require a license) with intelligent routing to minimize battery consumption. We also have experience in the approval of equipment for use in various areas of the world.

In addition to the Internet connection, communications with other devices are essential for almost any electronic device, especially if it is a control system. A careful design will avoid a multitude of problems, especially if you plan to work in aggressive environments such as industrial.

We are experts in the design of communication links of all kinds, indoors or outdoors, both wired (Ethernet, CANBus, etc.) and wireless (free band ISM, 3G/4G, Bluetooth, NFC/RFID communications). We have also implemented protocols such as ModBus or IEC870-5-102, and have even successfully designed other application- and transport-specific ones.
